Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Flagstaff is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flagstaff follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was traveling from Texas to California with two kids and a dog. I stopped at a gas station in Flagstaff and was inspecting all the running gear on my travel trailer (I had an issue last year that keeps me paranoid). I spotted a cracked weld on a spring hanger. As luck would have it, I was a mile from their shop and they were able to work me in that day. Super cool people and they did a fantastic job. I would have gladly gotten raked over the coals on price just to get back on the road, but they were very reasonable on price. I was in a huge bind because part of my family was flying to California for a competition and I was towing a trailer that might not have made it (could have really hurt us or others if that hanger broke off). I can’t thank these guys enough!

My son was on a road trip with his friends and needed a leaf spring replaced and was essentially stranded. Fortunately, he found the guys at American and were able to get him in quickly the following morning. They got the job done super fast at a terrific price. This means the world to me as a parent who is a couple of states away. Can’t say enough about this shop and their service. Bravo to the team. Keep up the amazing work.

Extremely honest and reliable. The work done here is impeccable. If its taking longer its because they do it the right way! Got a 2 inch ironman lift installed! Feels smoother than when new! Thanks for all the hard work from you guys!

Awesome place! They really know their stuff when it comes to upgrades and maintenance and will insure everything is installed properly and your ride will be safer and more reliable. They have a lot of history and experience so let them do their thing and you’ll be happy with the results. If they are recommending to replace a part, they are saying that for a reason and are not the kind of place to try to rip you off so take their suggestions with that in mind. I’ve had them work on my rig multiple times and each time I have been very happy with the results and found the price to be fair. Most recently was my +4.5 LT Kit and they did a phenomenal job! Highly recommend this location and no you don’t have to have some intense rig to come here

These guys are the angels of Arizona for suspension work. My heavily worked F350 was getting a little soft towing at the upper end of its range. With 18k on the goose and 700+ lbs in tools and equipment in the bed, it was not inspiring confidence on rough roads. The trailer used to drive the truck. George worked me in on my travels next day for a same day turnaround. They build their leafs old Skool not just buying overseas springs to bolt on. Towed our loaded rig through 89 in northern AZ on the way to Utah. If you know those roads, you know they’re rough on any vehicle let alone a fifth wheel. Now my truck is in command of the trailer and the road. The front is more planted. You don’t find work this good, this friendly, this fast, and this affordable. If you’re contemplating doing any suspension work, I’d make the drive to Flagstaff any day from any place.
